Functional decorations that are both practical and attractive are tiki torches or other oil based lamps to light up your party. When the sun goes down lamps and torches, provide beautiful and useful light sources. Bonus: If you add some citronella oil to both, they also work as a mosquito repellant.

Every southern home has a few of them or so it seems. The ultra versatile Mason Jar has so many uses, they seem to be good for practically everything. This makes them the perfect container to stock up on for your late summer BBQs. Your guests will appreciate this classic, stylish southern touch.
Party Games
The most important part of an outdoor BBQ, next to the food and company, is the party games! No summer cookout is complete without entertainment and there are tons of different games for you to enjoy. When you go into a restaurant, one of the first things you tend to look at is the menu, and the same goes for your guests at a party or BBQ.
