Fun Intown Atlanta Halloween Events for All

Halloween is a time for spooky fun, sweet treats, and most importantly quality time with your family. There are a variety of fun intown Atlanta Halloween events for you to enjoy ranging from haunted house attractions to a monster-themed dance party. To help you make those plans, we’ve put together a list of family-friendly events and fun attractions to check out.

Georgia A-Scary-Um

This Saturday or Sunday make your way to the Georgia Aquarium for the A-Scary-Um event where you can meet Dracula, Igor, Frankenstein, and his bride as they boogie to 70’s and 80’s dance hits. The aquarium is also hosting a special Graveyard Smash on Halloween day that includes trick-or-treat stations in each gallery, Halloween crafts, and photo stations.

Boo at the Zoo

Head to Zoo Atlanta on October 28th, and 29th for the Boo at the Zoo event, where you and your children can sample treats throughout the zoo, meet spooky characters, make your way through an inflatable corn maze, and dance to live musical performances. If that isn’t convincing enough, this year’s event will also feature the return of the 501st Georgia Garrison dressed as your children’s favorite Stormtroopers and Star Wars characters.

Halloween Night on Callanwolde Mountain

On Friday, October 27th, there will be a thrilling Halloween spectacular at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. When you arrive, you will be given a map of the estate to help you find your way to trick-or-treating locations, art activities, and party games. After you complete your journey around the estate, make your way to Callanwolde’s Tudor-Revival Candler Mansion. Listen to live musical performances and enjoy movie screenings from the Atlanta film society while the kids take advantage of the LEGOland discovery center. End the night with the all-ages dance party and costume contest where big prizes will be awarded.

Fernbank Boo-seum Trick or Treat

Make your way to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History on October 28th for the BOO-seum Halloween event. This annual event offers a day of fun Halloween-themed activities for kids. There will be spooky games, mystery boxes, costume contests, a live DJ, and lots of Halloween treats. Plus, throughout the day the museum will also be showing the holiday classic It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
